It would be wonderful to see more cross-disciplinary research, and it sounds an interesting consideration (imo) for an adversarial research project~ those with different ideologies contributing to the collation of evidence-based recommendations. Though given pollies are elected for short periods, and they tend to focus on being re-elected, perhaps incremental local implementation that could build to national reforms.
